PITT LACROSSE ANNOUNCES MULTI-YEAR PARTNERSHIP WITH EPOCH LACROSSE
PITTSBURGH – The University of Pittsburgh women's lacrosse team announced a multi-year partnership with Epoch Lacrosse to provide the Panthers with innovative equipment for use on the field Monday afternoon.
"We are excited to partner with Epoch Lacrosse as we look to build a legacy here with the Pitt Lacrosse program," said head coach Emily Boissonneault. "Epoch's innovative designs and understanding of the sport make them a leader in the lacrosse gear industry. Our shared passion for the sport of lacrosse makes this a terrific partnership and we can't wait to train with our Epoch gear as we prepare for our inaugural season in 2021-22."
Epoch Lacrosse will provide Pitt student-athletes with the industry-leading Dragonfly shafts, innovative Purpose 15 degree lacrosse heads and their full range of the newest Elite Integra protective equipment. All gear will be customized for the team thanks to Epoch's bespoke capabilities.

Director of Athletics Heather Lyke announced the addition of women's lacrosse as a varsity sport at Pitt Nov. 1, 2018 with Boissonneault named head coach of the Pitt Lacrosse program June 28, 2019. The program will play its inaugural season against NCAA Division I competition in the 2021-22 academic year.
Pitt's current roster features five transfers (Madisyn Kittell, Carlie Leach, Therese Pitman, Gabby Turano, Brittney Villhauer), three juniors (Caroline Lederman, Kierin Ratliff-Kailbourne, Payton Reed) who played on Pitt's 2019 club National Championship team and an incoming class of six first-year freshmen (Emily Coughlin, Kate Elam, Madigan Lublin, Maureen McNierney, Riley Patrick, Abby Thorne).
